All basic art materials will be provided, but please bring something from your personal archives—this is the most important item. Also, bring an extra piece of clothing you don’t mind using for your assemblage performance. This piece may get paint on it, sewn to, or cut into pieces, so please choose accordingly. If you forget, don’t worry—I’ll have some pieces set aside.
Please wear loose-fitting clothing that allows for ease of movement. Flexible comfortable shoes or socks are ideal. If possible, choose black or solid colours, to enhance the aesthetics when observing improvised movements, but also feel free to wear whatever you're comfortable in. Layering helps to accommodate changes in temperature, and to stay warm when seated.
If something from a charity shop ‘speaks’ to you before the workshop, and you're able, feel free to bring that along too!

As a practicing artist, with 20 years of workshop facilitation experience, I guide this process to foster a reflective and enriching experience.
