Poiesis of Weathering is a series of short performance videos. Each episodic sermon performs a cartography of harm through a choreography of refusal, layered across individual and collective histories, held in performance rituals.
Each clip is an excerpt from a 2-minute 30-second performance video. The original timeframe responded to an open call, but I’ve chosen to retain it across the series. Each video holds to this fixed duration, an adopted constraint that becomes part of the language.
Using AI, I transforms poems and spoken words into audio, edited together with sound effects and music found in video-editing libraries, accompanied by movements that drive the dramaturgy, where I becomes performer, witness, and choreographer, shaping choreography as an act of refusal.
