Performance Art Video Installation.
Breakaway State arrives in three parts. Phases 1 + 2 are a performance art video, created in May in response to the global pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. responding to the binary locations and its emerging "trap door". Phase 3 arrives as a form of fictional academic writing - the month is November, and the year is 2020.
