The work explores the body as a living archive connected to the surrounding environment shaped by histories, social conditions, memory and lived experience. Through autobiographical image-making, the body becomes a site where race, gender, ancestral memory, and identity are continually performed and restaged.

Using Black feminist texts as references within cinematic framing, alongside the body in relation to objects, movement, and absence, I examine erasure as both a historical condition and an adaptive strategy. Working through myth-making and rituals of refusal, the image approaches the body as a site of resistance. I treat moments of rupture as constellations, positioning myself within the work as performer, witness, and choreographer. The work considers how identity, shaped through its relationship to environment, is rehearsed, inherited, and continually remade.

Each photograph title is structured through episodic titling borrowed from television and streaming formats, approachseriality as a way of staging repetition and memory.
