Due to immediate information via social networking, there has never been in the history of time such an open display of Greed exhibited by some of our world leaders, politicians and bankers. Like the greedy rich, so there exists the greedy poor.. this greed contaminates everything and can influence some of the most gullible young people.
This is the perfect time to unite and bring together a handful of expert people whose values are social NOT purely financial to see how we can best manage this unrest.
Bell Play
This glockenspiel I found at a car boot sale. Reminds me of school music lessons… all that’s missing is the recorder, triangle and brass cymbals. At the time of purchase I referred to it as a xylophone, however I have since learnt that it is in fact a glockenspiel as it has metal keys, whereas the xylophone has wooden ones.
At the weekend I was exhibiting work at Sydenham Arts Trail. I took this with me to invite visitors to interact with the instrument. Here are a few compositions that I recorded with Voice Memo on the iphone 4. Not bad sound really. Audioboo – the third party platform I chose to upload the sound files to – have their own recording app, which would have been more sensible to use as it cuts out the audio transfer time from phone on to laptop. With the Audioboo app you can upload straight from your phone. Pretty handy if your not fussed about editing before you publish.

Garam Masala restaurant, 144 Sydenham Road, SE26 becomes a cinema with a screening of this much-loved Indian comedy drama.
Doing my regular second-hand shop hunt I came across these ceramic bells that were maybe once loved by someone. Apparently they had received around about 100 different bells…
